How these Monthly Women’s Only Classes started?:

Over the years, we have helped thousands of Women and Young Girls in various schools, businesses and organisations to feel more empowered and confident with our specific Women’s Only Personal Safety & Self Defence training.

We were then asked why not hold such classes ourselves for the general public? So we did!

TOO many women and mothers have said that they have felt the following:

  • Feeling uncomfortable and not safe when walking by themselves.
  • Not feeling confident in knowing what to do should the need arise.
  • Feeling very concerned for their daughters when they go out by themselves.

With these Monthly Women’s Only Classes, young girls and ladies now have the chance to really do something about it!

After the initial 4 workshops planned, all the ladies attending decided that they don’t want the training to end there, but would like to continue to have on-going monthly Women’s Only classes, specific to women, as they not only found the training so far to be very useful and empowering, but they also really enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as getting to know other women and making new friends.

And most importantly, everyone understood that in order to be truly proficient in Self Defence, on-going regular training is necessary in order to build the two key components – Muscle Memory and Instinctive Reaction. So regular monthly classes made sense.

We cover the following in these classes:

⚡ Personal Safety – How to avoid getting into danger in the first place and how to be less likely seen as a potential victim.

⚡ Self Defence – You’re in danger, how to get out.

⚡ Overcoming Your Fear – the training is NOT just physical, it is mental and psychological too!

⚡ Learning Effective Blocking & Strikes.

⚡ Defending Against Grabs and Chokes.

⚡ Pre-Emptive Strikes – learn to strike first!

⚡ Rape Defence.

⚡ How to escape if the attacker pins your arms down?

⚡ When the attacker tries to push himself on top of you – learn to cause him damage, get him off, get up in the ‘correct’ manner and escape/continue attacking!

⚡ Learn to effectively defend and strike with a great combination of hands and feet.

⚡ Hair-Pulling Defence – Defend against – Front hair-pull, Side hair-pull, Rear hair-pull.

⚡ Rear Bear Hug Defence – How to protect yourself should an attacker grab you from behind.

⚡ Rear Naked Choke – How to protect yourself should an attacker choke you from behind.

⚡ Also learn to do it yourself – this is a fantastic technique to overcome bigger opponents AND to put the attacker to sleep!

These classes are open to all females from the age of 11, and beginners are also very welcome.

The classes are tailored ‘specifically’ for Women’s Self Defence and so are different to our standard weekly mixed classes. For those who are able to do both, they will obviously see greater benefits and faster progression but for those who prefer a Women’s Only environment, then these classes are just perfect. In fact, many women said that they have been looking for such classes for years but could never find any, so they are super happy.
